Rotary 101

Service, to our community and the world, is the cornerstone of Rotary service. Our club is very involved in our south Austin community.  We are vested in our youth and we are very proud of what we do.  For the last three years we have given third graders a dictionary; this year we gave third graders in ten elementary schools dictionaries.  We support the Oak Hill Elementary and Patton Elementary libraries with cash donations to their Book Fair.  We sponsor an Interact Club at Akins High School, as well as sponsor scholarships for high school students.  Middle Schoolers are invited to participate in our Essay Contest.

To support the community service and humanitarian programs of the club we hold several fundraisers throughout the year. These are fun and profitable events which gives members the opportunity to work together for the benefit of the community. 100% of the profits from these events go to fund our many service projects throughout the year.
